Hasina Akter Mita has been working for NIRAPAD as Programme Manager since November, 2010. She has successfully performed her roles in meeting organizational objectives and has extensive exposure to programme and project management. Mita has demonstrable capacity in maintaining networks and alliance with non-government organisations and government organizations. She has more than five years’ experience in the area of Disaster Risk Management, Research, Capacity Building and Knowledge Management. Mita has got her Honours and Masters Degree from University of Dhaka in Geography and Environment. Currently she is pursuing Professional Masters Degree in Disaster Management at University of Dhaka.
Md Asaduzzaman has joined to the NIRAPAD as Manager-Finance and Administration on 15 November, 2020. He has completed Master's of Business Administration (MBA) in Finance from Northwestern University Khulna, Bangladesh. He also obtains Mater’s in Commerce (M.Com) Accounting form Jagannath University, Dhaka. He has more than fifteen year’s work experiences in Account’s, Finance and Administration. He has worked as an Assistant Manager-Finance & Administration at Transparency International Bangladesh (TIB). Prior to this, he worked as an Accountant in Dhaka Ahsania Mission.
Md. Rashedul Hasan has been working for NIRAPAD since 18 May 2022. Mr. Hasan has around 8 years of progressive professional experience in the field of humanitarian and development action. Particularly, he is experienced in Project Management with a demonstrated history of working in the non-profit organization management industry. He is skilled in Proposal Writing, Knowledge Management, CC & DRR program implementation, Non-profit Program Development, Research, and Community Development.
Mr. Hasan obtained his bachelor degree in Biotechnology and Genetic Engineering. Later on he obtained his MS degree in Disaster Management from DU. Prior to joining NIRAPAD, he has worked for DUS, NAHAB and DAM in different roles and responsibilities.
Md. Mehedi Hasan Saddam has been working in NIRAPAD since December 2020 as an “Information Management Officer”. He has been involved in the field of Disaster, GIS and Remote Sensing, and Climate change since his undergraduate studentship. He is experienced in, Multi-Hazard Risk Analysis and Indexing, satellite image processing and remote sensing applications, land use and land cover mapping, urban planning, and data analysis. He has expertise in software like Erdas Imagine, eCognetion developers, ArcGIS, Google Earth Engine API, Tableau, and so on. Mr. Mehedi completed his B.Sc and M.S in Geography and Environment from Jagannath University. Mr. Mehedi is confident, pleasant, well-mannered, and self-motivated.

Nadia Chowdhury has joined to the NIRAPAD as an Accountant on 17 October, 2021. She has completed Masters of Business Studies (MBS) in Accounting from Eden Mohila College under National University, Bangladesh. She has more than 8 year’s work experiences in Account’s and Administration. She has worked as an Admin & Accounts officer at Environment & Social Development Organization-ESDO. Prior to this, she worked as an Accounts officer in Center for Urban Studies (CUS).
Uzma Kawser has joined NIRAPAD team on August, 2021. She has earned her Bachelor of Science in Economics with a second major in Environmental Management and Master of Social Science in Development Studies. She would like to dedicate herself to working in such a field and doing further research to promote the nexus collaboration between humanitarian and development works to attain sustainable development goals.
